Broncos receiver Bennie Fowler left the team’s game Sunday against the Cowboys after taking a hard hit to his head.
Video of the injury was bad enough, but what happened afterward was worse. Fowler couldn’t even walk straight as he stumbled on his way back to the sideline, collapsing twice before medical staff attended to him on the sideline.
Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills, knee: Clay is expected to appear on the injury report with regularity, as the Bills work to manage the health of his knee. His pattern is limited practice Wednesday, full practice Thursday and Friday and removal from the injury report prior to the weekend.
Evan Engram, New York Giants, concussion: Engram became an addition to several fantasy rosters in the past two weeks, and he delivered a touchdown on Monday night. Although he was placed in the concussion protocol earlier in the week and was held to limited practices each day, as of Friday, he had been cleared to return. Engram is off the injury report and is expected to play Sunday.
